Thanks, guys. I'm glad you like the opener. Diane: It's a re-run of one of my older openers and it seemed like this was a good time of year to run happy Mantis. I loved that link you posted. I'm thinking it's time for a re-viewing of BtVS from start to finish.

With summer coming maybe we should start up a view-a-thon? And maybe a re-issuance of some of our best Part Openers too?

Thank you. I am running, so to speak, on the kind of sleep I get when Franklin comes to bed at 5am. Which is to say, nowhere near enough. And everything I still need to do today involves either crossing the street without getting run over or using a power drill, so anything which keeps me sitting here and sort of resting a little is good for my health, right? Julia, if we do a Buffy rewatch I could, like, have a lie-down every day, although I still need to buy seasons...1&2, I think?

Post them all and take a vote in a special thread and then use them one by one? I'm open for any ideas. It sounds like fun.

It sounds like fun. Or whichever technopagan starts a new part could choose a classic opener she/he likes, like you just did. That'd be more fun, I think, because the rest of us would be surprised at what we'd forgotten. Me, anyway, mind like a steel... sieve.

I owe pretty much every bit of my pop culture knowledge to this man, which explains why everything from 1986 until now is pretty much a blur. Julia, not all that energized today, alas.

I have slayed usefuls. To prove it (to myself) here is a list so far: Started wash. Walked to market. Moved wash from washer to dryer, started next load. Drove to TJs and Michael's. Came home. Caught call from mechanic re arrival of replacement lens cap for Husband's left turn signal. Called Husband to let him know it was in so he could go get it installed on his way home, maybe. Sorted out Aged Mum's groceries, put away ours. Moved wash from washer to dryer, started new load, hung Elder Daughter's comforter on line to finish drying, etc etc etc... Walked to shopping center again. Emptied all the little wastebaskets. Took out recycling. Also let cats out, let cats in, let cats out, let cats in, from assorted doors... Am now tired and groggy and starting to fall asleep in my chair. Is it bedtime yet?

Levon Helm died, too. Sarah Jane, on the other hand, died a year ago today. Julia, the pollen is out to get me!
