And, now, for something completely undifferent...Part 43 Now Open Welcome to Part 43 folks! Since we have no birthdays on the calendar for today and we're all so cheery (and talky), I've decided it's the perfect day to celebrate all of our Unbirthdays! So, this song goes out to... well all of us. Come on in, get comfortable, and celebrate with us! A very merry unbirthday To me To who? To me Oh, you
A very merry unbirthday To you Who, me? To you Oh, me
Let's all congrulate us with another cup of tea A very merry unbirthday to you
Now statistics prove Prove that you've one birthday Imagine just one birthday every year Ah, but there are 364 unbirthdays Preciselywhy we're gathered here to cheer
A very merry unbirthday To me? To you A very merry unbirthday For me? For you Now blow the candle out, my dear And make your wish come true A very merry unbirthday to you Be sure to wish those around you a VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY! But, don't forget... no spoilers, even if you whisper -- wander on over to the Angel Spoilers board if you are dying to share. And, be sure to check out the latest and greatest on our website: www.soulfulspike.com

Hey we've got some Part 42 leftovers in here. They are bound to spoil soon if someone doesn't discuss them!
Here's what was going on when we left the last Part...
- We were all joing our respective "I Hate Winter", "I Love Winter" and Laura's "I Love Fall" clubs. This has led to much discussion of winter weather all over the country and may have led into the scary area of Texas/Florida flying insects.
- Deborah added a new link to the Recommended Links and Resources thread (check it out!).
- Our levels of evilness were still beginning discussed/discovered.
Got it? So, anyone want these leftovers?

Wow. Second. Nearest I ever came to being first. Well, really, you are first. My second post shouldn't technically count, in my opinion. It wasn't a real post just a continuation of my opening post.

And, because I told myself to do it... I hope everyone has had a very merry unbirthday!! I'm off to bake cake For a Birthday Party Now that I've opened Part 43! (You're right, One rhyme does not a poet make!) I'm obviously in a goofy/kooky mood today. I actually need to run to the Post Office (24 Hours, WOOHOO!) and then I need to decorate a birthday cake. Hope everyone has a wonderful night! Ciao, rae

Especially late fall, when football is in full swing, the colors are turning, Thanksgiving is around the corner, I can wear my sweaters, etc. It's Summer I hate (no, not Spring Summers). Too hot. See, I've always been of the mindset that when it gets cold, I can always put on more clothes. There simply comes a point when it's too hot that you can no longer take off anymore clothes, even in the privacy of your own bedroom where the fear of being arrested in non-existent. Oh, Isabel wanted me to tell everyone hello. She can be such a blowhard at times!

Got it? So, anyone want these leftovers? These tree roaches mentioned as residing in Texas - do they also inhabit the suburbs of Austin? And do they bite? I will be visiting there in a week, and there will be time spent outside with my friends and their five dogs. I am bringing OFF.
Count me in as someone who LOVES autumn. My idea of a perfect day is today - 69-70, cool, not too buggy, blue sky, a brisk breeze. Lovely. Laura, I'll join the I LOVE FALL club!
I put up with winter. Biggest bummer is finding all the parks where I take the dogs to be iced up and too slippery for me to spend much time there. On the other hand, no worries about ticks. I'm a native Yankee; snow is part of the scenery. I remember, about six years ago, going to a dog show near Leesburg, VA. It was May and the weather decided to imitate Massachusetts in November, complete with chill winds and some light rain. I had my parka and felt fine. All my friends from VA and MD came down with colds and were thoroughly miserable....[glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=green,left,300]GAIL ;D[/shadow]

She might remember me - I'm the one she nearly blew off the road last week on I-10? Fasten your seatbelt Dave - she's not a nice person.

Fasten your seatbelt Dave - she's not a nice person. We never had much of a Fall in Florida, either. Straight from Summer to Winter there. It didn't help that all the trees were evergreens that never turned. Here it's all hardwoods, so things really come to life in October. Isabel may be the one who blew you off the road, but she doesn't seem to be her old self up in this area. Her reputation preceded her, so we shut everything down around the area in preperation for her. So far a lot of wind and rain, but nothing more than we had all summer without the fancy names.

;D OFF wouldn't work, (it's theorized an atomic blast wouldn't work) but they aren't like mosquitos. They don't 'attack' people. They might accidentally land on you in a blind panic (debatable whose panic is greater) and yes, These roaches are in Austin. But they are also throughout Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico...and points north. But its not like they just fly around in big swarms nor do they appear in daytime. Occasionally, especially if its been raining a lot, and you have big old beautiful trees in the yard, one will get in the house at night and terrify the occupants. Or dive bomb an outside light in panic. But its not like 'uh oh, here come the tree roaches again, sound the alarm!' (Smashing them with a heavy shoe ...that works...usually...or a bullet...) ;D *runs away to count up her evil pointage now...*

I haven't kept up with her progress, and am shamefully ignorant of whether there was much damage in the Carolinas, or if the storm turned....but am very glad to hear you are not getting the brunt of it. A day off with great sleeping weather doesn't sound so bad....
