//Can we have a sword fight? With twizzlers? Cause I love Twizzlers. I feel like Faith every time I eat one.// If Patti and Julie were to come at me with Twizzlers, I'm not sure how'd I react. Possibly strip naked and let them have their wild and wicked way with me, I would suspect. Goodie! I bet I'd win then. There was some kind of contest, right? I can't think of it right now, but I think there was. 20 minutes until Angel. I'm supposed to be at tech rehearsal right now and I stayed home because - only 2 more Angels and I'm DETERMINED to catch up on this BOARD. It's insane here, and I'm not excluding me. 500 posts in one day! Good grief - maybe this is why Scoopme is signing off - we're scaring them1

//I still have to grin when I think about the conversation about the Onion Blossom. Spike's a lot more patient with Andrew than I'd be. I'm with Giles. I'm about ready to throttle him.// And much more than last year, when Andrew was telling him about Doctor Who DVD's. I think it's interesting that Faith has said several times doing what Buffy was doing was not her deal, and not at all appealing. "Turning a group of little girls into an army" is something she said she did NOT envy. It's a case of even be careful what you DON'T wish for.

Rhonda's comments made me think about the Buffy-Faith dynamic, talking about how Faith wasn't there to undermine things for Buffy. Something in Buffy's direction to Faith as she left -- to protect the potentials -- somehow that told me that Buffy sort of respected Faith wasn't against her, although she probably did leave because she felt like there did need to be a seperation, she was getting to the potentials and the potentials were getting to her. Faith didn't want the power, she didn't want to oust Buffy as leader. And in a way, I think Buffy recognized that Faith, of all people, might have been her one ally in the room at that moment. In the end, Faith was the only one who attacked the plan but never attacked Buffy.

//David, uh, were you watching "Muffy the Vampire Layer"? I remember the SiTs removing themselves from the cot, not what you just crudely suggested. // Apparently I was. Did Anya give her speech in the nude on anyone else's version? No? Yep, I was watching Muffy.

Can anyone else believe that we've closed in on 500 posts on this episode here on the S'cubie board, and that there are barely 8 pages on the Episode board?? (And a lot of new posters -- not that that's a bad thing.) It's like people have suddenly discovered where the "cool" kids hang out! ;-) Fourteen minutes to Angel!

Rhonda said: It IS going to be very interesting when Angel gets to Sunnydale. I wonder how he will react to the relationship? Rhonda, if there IS by that time an actual relationship, I hope Angel will hold his non-existent breath until he turns blue and explodes. If Buffy is still waffling at that point, I hope Spike pops "Peaches" a good one. Nan

Ruben is in the BOTTOM two of "American Idol" What the hell is wrong with America?!?!? I know I'm probably a little prejudiced since Ruben's from my hometown but c'mon, the kid is AMAZING!!! The judges are in love with him and several, several times they have all mentioned that he is the one to beat. AND now is he in the bottom two?!?!?!? If he gets kicked off tonight, I will lose all faith in the American public - or at least, the millions of teenyboppers that are voting! I'm so sad now... and really worried. I will be absolutely devastated if Ruben is voted off. Laugh all you want, I don't care - but if Ruben is voted off, I will be bawling!! -L :-|

I'm becoming very impressed by the fact that you aren't in prison right now for having attacked James right there in the middle of the auditorium, in front of God and everybody. That apparently took great restraint. Hah! How do you know I didn't? And am not?

Laura, See you on the Angel episode board after the show airs? I don't want to wait to discuss but to spare anyone over there I will make sure to clarify in my titles that I'm talking about the new episode. You game Laura? -L

Rob, you looked so good standing in front of that American flag with your uniform, medals, riding-crop and Ivory-handled revolvers (I very nearly made the mistake of saying they were pearl). Maybe what Buffy needs is to be possessed by the ghost of General George S. Patton. Then he could hold Caleb by the nose while the potentials kicked him in the ass.

So what are you suggesting Lee, that if another East Coaster posts before the West Coast has seen the ep, we might get a cap popped in our collective asses? OK! I give! I bow to your mastery and award you SNARK OF THE DAY! That was awesome!
