Welcome to the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread Part 1115. Compromise may not be our middle name, but we are willing to at least discuss it.
Love Glee? Hate Supernatural? Feel so-so about Bones? You don't have to LOVE all TV to enjoy our I Love, Love, LOVE TV thread. We've even got show threads for Torchwood, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, and the ongoing Whedon 'fest that is the S3.
I bet you'd be thrilled to see some uncompromised awesomeness. Check out the The S3 Website! We've got fanfic, pretty pictures, and reviews.
One thing we don't compromise on? Spoilers on the main board. Spoilers belong in the Spoiled Souls thread; if you want to talk about casting spoilers, the little ghosty button above is for you and if you want to talk about a show that just aired, please mark in BIG LETTERS.
And hey, maybe different religions, creeds, and parties can find some detante within our Open Topics Thread. Your opinion might not mesh with someone else's, but we strive for a sane discussion.
So respect all pastry, and embrace the posting!

Nice bon mot to get us going, your majesty. Now if I could decide whether I slept last night while dreaming of being awake or, instead, did not sleep at all. There are arguments for both. Julia, in any case, unspeedy today.

Nice bon mot to get us going, your majesty. Now if I could decide whether I slept last night while dreaming of being awake or, instead, did not sleep at all. There are arguments for both. Julia, in any case, unspeedy today. I had the oddest dream that I was plucking my eyebrows using a handmirror and my tweezers, when I noticed a chin hair, so I plucked it. Then I noticed another chin hair, so I took a better look and saw that I had maybe a couple dozen noticeable dark chin hairs under my chin. This surprised me, but didn't upset me, and I just calmly went about trying to pluck them all. I have had a hard time analyzing this one. Maybe I am . . . expecting to gracefully accept the aging process? Perhaps it is about penis-envy.

Hi, S'cubes! Have a quiet weekend ahead - chores and some College Football watching . . . some work on the charity-website I do the upkeep on.

I habitually dream of cutting out dress patterns and making little corrections until I'm left with a pile of lint. Julia, I know exactly what that's about, unfortunately.

I dreamed I woke up and poured the whole bottle of ear drops in my ear. I'm pretty sure I didn't do that on account of there still being ear drops. I hate it when I dream of taking medicine though because it's one of those things where excess repetition is not of the good.

Husband and I drove to Santa Monica, met Bestest Buddy. He went to a movie, Daria and I went to a bead store, another bead store, and the wooey store in Venice, where I bought myself a nice ring with a big oval labradorite set in sterling. Also several neighbors were having yard sales this morning in the drizzle, so I bought two framed fruit crate labels and two framed Hokusai prints, all slightly damp, for a buck apiece from the nice neighbors next door. but fairly content this afternoon.

Much huggage for tireds. Much joyage for contents. I had a date this afternoon. Was SOOOO sick of being in house that agreed to meet online correspondent. Nice guy. VERY big guy. Like 6'4" both ways guy. Most overwelming. Had Mexican for lunch. Took walk in park. Got kissed (??!) there was also hair petting. Also a proposition. Most insistent proposition. Wasn't expecting THAT. There was even a little, little bit of sparkage. And much panic. Very grateful that post-op self couldn't stay out longer with the tireds setting in. I need a rule book for dating in the 21st Century.

VERY slow day, after the alarums and excursions over car trouble which cme down to needing a jump; I'm sitting here building up strength of purpose to go do the prep for a nice curry.
Julia, starting with boning some chicken thighs, what a crap job that is.
