Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
"Yeah, that sounds exactly like Sawyer"
"How did he die?" "He was whapped about like a rag doll in the mouth of a scary creepy smoke monster"
"Look to you two" Which two? Hugo and Charlie?
And Hugo, of course, is the only one paying attention to the human element that's actually GOING ON...
So why the hell is Claire out there in the freakin' ocean?
Yeah, Desmond would know CPR, being the wild, wooly adventurer type...
Charlie, don't bother him with unimportant questions...
And Hugo is the MASTER of the "dude" statement.

I don't know. I'm kinda Lost myself. Phew! I thought I was alone. It's losing me, this show. It's been a long hiatus, and a 'meh' episode to start off with. But - hey now! Half dressed Desmond is something to get excited about. And Hurley/Charlie goodness. Not to mention Locke and Sayeed. Desmond seemed awfully protective of Claire. Charlie is not going to like this one bit.

Charlie taking Sawyer's stash? "People need food, they need drugs. They need shocking amounts of pornography." Ah, yes! I am back with my people. ;D Wow. I'd forgotten the rest of the gang didn't know about Mr. Eko yet. Hurley knows what's up with Desmond. And therefore knows to keep an eye on him. Claire in the water? How? Desmond gets to be the big savior guy again. While Charlie freaks out. "That guy? Sees the future, dude." Aaaaaahhhhhhhh, yes yes yes. **basks** I am so back with my people again. ;D

"He was whapped about like a rag doll in the mouth of a scary creepy smoke monster" **snortle** I liked the whole "the island killed him" "the island?" "you know what I mean!" bit. Yeah, I can see people looking to Hugo. But Charlie? Um. **nods nods nods** SO the master.

Penelope.. and Desmond is so Odysseus.
Uh, why was she swimming fully-dressed? I mean, I know not everyone is cavelier about nudity, but swimming fully-clothed is just.. silly.
Jealous there, Charlie?
Get him drunk? Jesus, he's got more tolerance than you, Charlie.
WHY are you being confrontational with the "Brother" comment?
So what is so special about this McCutcheon whisky?
British Drinking songs.. "Girls with one leg and a heart of gold" hee!
What's with the accusing tones? It's freaky as all hell, yes, but it's a blessing, not a badness.
And Desmond's keyword is "coward" huh. I don't think Charlie is mocking with the "brother" that time. It felt natural.
RECENT flashDesmond. Huh.
Last words of love of his lady.
and he is in paradise? He was instantly translated to where he wanted to be; with Penelope.
Circe's illusions.

No way. An hallucination born of a head injury? No way. That would be akin to Pamela Ewing's season-long dream with Bobby dead and her life being completely changed, only to find out Bobby was in the shower the whole season when he stepped out the first episode of the following year.
